The LPOA takes an active role in reviewing development proposals, traffic studies , public safety and crime issues and other municipal affairs which may affect the ratepayers of our neighborhood. The pamphlet contains the "Residential Character Preservation Guidelines For House Renovations, Additions and In-Fill Development in the Community of Leaside". These guidelines were developed by the City of Toronto, Urban Development Services, City Planning Division and published in September 2003.
